In Looking For Alaska, Miles Halter transfers to a boarding school in Alabama where he meets his first love, makes his first friends, and experiences his first loss. Miles meets Chip Martin, his roomate and bestfriend, and Alaska Young, his first crush and the girl who turned his whole world around. Months and Months are consumed with Chip and Miles trying to figure out why she died. Both spend endless hours thinking back to the night of her death hoping to find a clue. When all else fails, Chip and Miles sat with this: Alaska wanted to get out of the Labyrinth, and know she does. Miles came to the boarding school to seek the great the perhaps but instead was left with the lingering thoughts of Alaska Young and the Labyrinth.
